Description:
FIRE DRAGONFLY ToPeFPV version is made in collaboration with Tomass Petersons aka ToPeFPV - one of the best pilots in Northern Europe, who have proven his skills by winning many podiums around globe.
The frame was developed around idea of extremely lightweight and compact platform with high camera positioning angle. That allows to take cinematic footage with higher speeds than regular freestyle drone.
Arms were produced from custom made T700 Toray “Artisan” 3k Plain Full Woven CF sheet. During my strength test, it showed up to 50% of strength increase over conventional 3k / UD CF composite.
Battery on top of the frame can be installed in regular or in perpendicular position, as "toilet tank".
Arms are interlocking and fixed with 5 screws per pair. That solution is keeping them firm together and eliminates any wobbling.
Bottom plate has place for main stack with 20 and 30.5 mm holes layout. Additionally in the back is arranged secondary 20x20 stack for fixation of VTX plate .
Each frame set is supplied with long Nylon screws, anti-vibration o-rings and Low ESR Rubycon capacitor.
All plates and arms have chamfered edge, they are nice to touch and safe for wires.
Top and bottom plates are mounted with countersunk screws. That makes surface flat and allows easy and unobstructed mounting of battery.
Camera holding plates are with holes for universal adjustable HD cam protection pod, specially designed for use on most of CrissCrossFPV frames.
Frame is developed within CrissCrossFPV's "Light Weight - Low Drag" concept.
